Bunko for Breast Cancer is completely funded by individual and corporate donations.

Your contribution will be used to lighten the load of a Central Georgia family who has been affected by a breast cancer diagnosis. The survivor and her spouse will have access to our support group meetings, meal and housekeeping assistance, bi-monthly socials and resource library. For those with children, we also provide simultaneous bi-monthly support meetings and social activities. We have even launched a summer camp to help these children understand and manage the effects of a breast cancer diagnosis of their loved one. Studies reveal that children of all ages have difficulty managing the stress of this change in their life. All of our programs are offered at no charge and are overseen by licensed professionals. We are here to lighten the load for each survivor and their family members so that the stress can be lessened and the blessings of life can be enjoyed.

Young Survivors Beach Retreat Club - Bi-monthly programs and additional activities for Young Survivors in the Middle GA Community.
Support our Beach Buddies Club - Bi-monthly programs and additional activities for the children affected by a breast cancer diagnosis.
Men IN Pink - Bi-monthly programs and additional activities for Spouses and Caregivers of Young Survivors in the Middle GA Community.
Beach Buddies Summer Camp - Our annual day camp. This is a great way for children to connect with others who have a parent or grandparent dealing with breast cancer.
Dedicate a Book Program - To purchase and send a book to a child dealing with a parent's breast cancer diagnosis.
Chemo Bags - These bags are hand made and sewn by one of our Young Survivors. Included inside are: a monogrammed blanket, water bottle, journal, pen, note cards, hard candy and various items such as gift certificates or products donated from local businesses. A great way to send a "Warm and Fuzzy" to someone who has just been diagnosed or facing chemotherapy or surgery.
- One Survivor's response to receiving her bag...PS - took the pink "bunko for breast cancer" blanket to chemo yesterday...added a touch of home and felt like you were wrapping me with a hug!
Meal Vouchers - Provide a gift to a friend that will truly make a difference! We make the call to our friends at Schwan's. They send a truck to the Survivors home and allow the family to choose $100 worth of meals.

I was tired and I didn't feel good physically or mentally. His phone call on your behalf was a God send. When he stopped by and brought the food in I felt so special because somebody cared about me. Housekeeping Vouchers - A great way to lighten the load of a family dealing with their cancer diagnosis or facing surgery. We make the call to Spotless Cleaning Services, Inc. and they schedule the house cleanings. Keeps their homes sanitized to reduce infection as well as providing a calming environment to return home to at the end of the day.
